Summary
The JBL Partybox 1000 is a much more powerful speaker as compared with the JBL Partybox 300. Although both speakers produce JBL signature sound, the JBL Partybox 1000 is hands down the loudest Partybox speaker available and has just much more volume and bass than the Partybox 300 and 100.
To put things in perspective, the JBL Partybox 1000 can produce a whopping 1000 watts of sound output, while the JBL Partybox 300 delivers 100-120 watts RMS. The bass response on the Partybox 1000 is much more powerful and wholesome as compared to the Partybox 300.
If you are going for absolute volume output, the JBL Partybox 1000 is definitely the better option, although the JBL Partybox 300 is still a good choice if you don’t need the massive 1000 watts that the Partybox 1000 has to offer.
Comparing the Specs
JBL Partybox 300
The JBL PartyBox 300 is the second loudest speaker in the JBL Partybox line made especially for large parties and outdoor gatherings. It is a large wireless speaker from JBL that streams high-quality sound from your smartphone or Bluetooth devices at a touch of a button, with roaring acoustic drivers that pump out deafening sound quality. We liked the fact that you can pre-program your party or event with your favorite playlist from a USB thumb drive while connected to the PartyBox 300.
Furthermore, the speaker supports wireless connection via TWS (True Wireless Stereo) using Bluetooth connection for up to 2 speakers, or wired via RCA output to another speaker. We particularly liked the fact that the JBL PartyBox comes with a USB port which allows you to charge other USB devices straight from the speaker, so you do not require an extra charger to keep your smartphone devices powered up.
The PartyBox 300 speaker provides JBL signature sound with an immersive audio experience at home that brings to live audio experiences with extremely loud sound. If you are looking for one of the loudest Bluetooth speakers that can produce a tonne of volume for party events, the JBL PartyBox 300 is a great choice.
JBL Parybox 1000
The JBL Partybox 1000 is the loudest and most powerful speaker in the JBL line of speakers. It has a built-in amplifier that can deliver a stunning 1000 watts of power – which is way more than anything we have tested since the Partybox 300. Based on our estimates, this is probably the second loudest speaker in the world right now (second only to the Devialet Phantom featured below).
The Partybox 1000, like the Partybox 300, delivers JBL Signature sound with crystal clear highs, very nice midranges and incredibly deep bass. The bass from the Partybox 1000 is so punchy and deep that it feels like a subwoofer on its own.
You can really crank up the volume on the Partybox 1000 without hearing any distortion. Be careful when turning up the volume on this speaker above 50% it gets really REALLY very loud. It has a 1000W amplifier, which makes it comparable to concert-grade PA speakers.
Sound Performance
JBL Partybox 300
The sound performance of the JBL PartyBox 300 is extremely loud and even surpasses the JBL Boombox in terms of absolute sound output. This Bluetooth speaker is equipped with 2 x 6.5” woofers and 3 x 2.25” tweeters with true wireless stereo compatibility. It also features a bass boost function to increase the bass on the speaker for deeper beats and lower frequency response. The frequency range on the PartyBox 300 speaker is a wide 45 Hz to 20 kHz, and can blast music for up to 18 hours with its massive 10400mAh battery life.
JBL Partybox 1000
The JBL Partybox 1000 also comes with a full panel visual lighting effect which creates a dazzling lightshow for a stunning visual experience. You’ll definitely need to see this in real life because of how cool this lighting effect actually is.
The JBL Partybox 1000 delivers JBL signature sound with deep bass performance and crystal clear volume. It fully supports wireless Bluetooth streaming with NFC pairing.
Compared to the JBL Partybox 300, we found that the Partybox 1000 definitely delivers much louder volume and much more powerful sound overall. It’s a very powerful speaker that you’d normally use for large outdoor events where you can truly blast music in an open area. This speaker gets even louder than the JBL Partybox 300 and can pump out an incredible 1000 watts of sound.
The bass performance on both the JBL Partybox 300 and Partybox 1000 are roughly the same, but the Partybox 1000 is much more powerful in terms of absolute volume output.
The Verdict?
The JBL Partybox 1000 is hands down the winner in terms of absolute volume output and bass power. The Partybox 1000 can deliver a massive 1000 watts as compared to the Partybox 300’s 120 watts RMS of power. The Partybox 1000 has so much volume and massive power output that it can literally power an entire outdoor party or large gathering without any issues. You can also crank up the volume on both speakers without hearing any distortion.
In terms of bass output, the Partybox 1000 has slightly more bass than the Partybox 300, although you probably would not be able to tell the difference between both speakers at high volume levels.
