The Infinity Kappa 693s are some of the loudest car speakers you can find on a budget that really delivers solid sound performance. These car speakers have a combined 220 watts RMS power and can deliver a stunning 660 watts peak power, making them very loud and powerful. They are designed as 6 x 9 inch 3-way car speakers and have a good balance of highs, midranges and lows. Furthermore, these speakers are designed with carbon injected glass fiber cone material, and feature a 1” soft dome edge-driven fabric tweeter construction for crisp highs and treble ranges. We also like that this car speaker is designed with cone technology which offers more cone area than other speakers in its class, resulting in deeper bass output. The speakers are relatively easy to install and mount, and have a mounting depth of 3-3/16 inches and mounting width of 8-5/8 inches. Overall, the Infinity Kappa 693 are some of the loudest car speakers we have tested and highly recommend them.

We were surprised at how much power these speakers despite their inexpensive price point. When we replaced the car factory speakers with the Infinity Kappa 693s, we could definitely hear the difference in the midrange frequencies with cleaner bass response. The highs and midranges are reproduced cleanly without any harshness, and vocals can be heard distinctly and clearly without any distortion. You can also blast up the music volume level without hearing any substantial distortion or harshness; the sound quality remains consistent and clear. We really liked the fact that these speakers have relatively low impedance, which means they will work great even when installed onto your car factory stereo system.

The bass on these speakers also sound surprisingly deep and tight. While most component speakers do not have much bass, the Infinity Kappa 693 certainly did not disappoint in this respect. The bass feels tight and punchy, and adds a layer of punch to music performances. It also contains a detailed crossover network which differentiates between the highs, mids and lows for greater sound clarity.

That being said, one thing we didn’t like about these speakers is that the frame feels flimsy and flexible, so you probably need to exercise extra care when installing them. They sound great when installed in both the front and back doors of your car.

As mentioned earlier, the Kappa 693 car speakers only have a 2-ohm nominal impedance so there’s no need for additional amplification with these speakers. They sound much better than factory-installed speakers and provides more sound output than component speakers in its class. There’s also nice chrome inserts on the grille which blends in nicely into modern car interiors with no visible mounting screws – that’s definitely a plus in the aesthetic department.
